WHAT IS THIS COLLECTION?

A considered collection of comfortable pieces for both mama and baby. Made in tried and trusted Rowan favourites Baby Cashsoft Merino and Summerlite DK, designed to be used interchangeably depending on the season or your fibre preference.

Modern classic shapes designed to accommodate a changing body and the everyday needs of new mama, with a relaxed, casual aesthetic and practical details including wraps, button openings and high side vents.

And for baby, easy to knit, simple projects perfect for gifting, hand me downs, and for mindful crafting whilst waiting for the new arrival.o go!

The Knit Kit Co are delighted to bring the Rowan Bloom collection to our wonderful customers.  We thought their idea of combining the needs of the mother throughout her pregnancy and the excitement of the baby arriving was perfect. The mother's patterns are gorgeous and can be worn through pregnancy and beyond and the baby patterns are pure cuteness.

Erika is a world-renowned knitwear designer so you can't go wrong with these patterns!

There are 11 patterns in the book - 4 for mum and 7 for baby.

WHO ARE THEY FOR?

These projects are aimed at the more experienced knitter or a beginner who is willing to take on a few more challenges.  These patterns are written by Rowan rather than The Knit Kit Co so are more of a traditional approach to pattern writing.  If you are used to Knit Kit Co patterns then you might find you have to research some terms or techniques to help you.

3½mm (no 10/9) (US 4) straight needles 

Set of 4 double-pointed 3½mm (no 10/9) (US 4) needles

3½mm (UK 10/9) (US 4) circular needle no more than 40 cm long

Set of 4 double-pointed 3¼mm (UK 10) (US 3) needles

4.50mm (no 7) (US 7) crochet hook (Lullaby blanket only)
